The Magical Realism Child Care Center was conceived from a profound passion for Early Childhood Education and a steadfast belief that learning should be imbued with wonder and exploration. This vision took root with The Art of Learning Family Child Care, established in 2008 by Zurlay Rivera Orozco, a graduate in Social Work from the University of Cundinamarca, Colombia, and holder of an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education from Urban College, USA. Over the years, Zurlay’s rich experience and scholarly pursuits culminated in the development of an innovative educational approach. This unique framework emphasizes creativity and sensory exploration as foundational elements of learning.
After 18 years of dedicated service and growth, this vision blossomed into The Magical Realism Child Care Center in Reading, MA—a vibrant space where learning unfolds as a magical adventure and where every child becomes the protagonist of their own story.
